Presumptive Ranges by Class

Checked on 25 October 2026 against Alaska Statutes 12.55.125(c)–(e) on the Alaska Legislature website: all presumptive ranges and maximum terms match. Each offense in the list was checked against the current text of its statute. Ranges can be adjusted for aggravating or mitigating factors (AS 12.55.155–175). Not included: sex offenses, murder, kidnapping, first-degree drug offenses (unclassified felonies with their own ranges), and the 1–2 year range for a first conviction under AS 08.54.720(a)(15).
